Beanie and fun

Hello, my dear friends!

I have taken a small break from knitting my dress (which looks more like a tunic than a dress… ) to knit a beanie for my Big man. I’d promised it to him a while ago but have found some free time only in these days… well, besides serious and useful knitting I have had some fun, too….

I tried my new safety pin like stitch markers and I’m happy to tell that they work perfectly!! Wow, at last!!!!

I enjoyed some yarny tea moments….

…. and the sunlight….

And,last but not least, I tried one of my brand new hooks 🙂 🙂 🙂

Here is the beanie in its very FO moment…

But…. that’s not all, folks… during our stay in Croatia we saw a lot of TV services about New Year Eve parties outdoors and a lot of people were interviewed in the streets… among the crowd there was a gentleman wearing a crocheted (or maybe knitted) beard…. well, I saw my Big man’s face light up… He adored the item…. so…. 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

….. I crocheted it by following this pattern…. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Again, I admit shamelessly that I couldn’t have had more fun than I actually had had indeed … 🙂 🙂 🙂

    1. Thank you so much!! I made my man laugh yesterday and that was the main goal to be reached with the beard. He loved the beanie too and can’t wait see him home and try it on…. ❤ ❤ ❤ The beanie is easy to do, I cast on 112 stitches on a 3,5 mm circular needles and made cables of a tot 6 stitches and ten rows. That’s all. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Sometimes the simplest items are the best ones.
