FO :: my freaky tote bag

Oh,yeah,my freaky project tote bag is ready…

…. yes,I want to let people know that the bag is handmade…. the eimbroidery is a bit megalomanic, you say…. well, you’re quite right… yes,I want people know that it is handmade but the fact is that the only eimbroidery stitch I’m able to make is the cross stitch and this is the smallest letter version I was capable to make….. so my so called label turned out quite big…. never mind, I will remove it if that will be necessary…. 🙂

That’s it,my friends! Off for some relaxing Saturdays knitting 🙂

Because every cottage needs its own fairy…

Hello again,my friends!

After having had some quite busy days I had a demanding need to craft something… well,to be honest, I have tried to cross stitch the second cup but my two attempts turned out so very inglorious…

Quite ugly and not neat at all…. so I decided to change the subject and picked up a nice pattern among those on my Pinterest Cross stitch board… and since this is the second cross stitch project meant for Roma and since every cottage needs its own fairy…. here it is, my tiny one…

Small, neat, sweet and ready to be framed! I hope that she will be a nice cottage guardian 🙂

PS: I have forgotten the wings!!!! What fairy has no wings!!!! I’m out of my mind indeed…. so I have just embroidered them….

Do you spot them? Now the tiny fairy is FO for real…. 🙂

Some coffee? Or you prefer tea?

Hello, my friends!

I’m having some really busy days lately and I find quite hard to be more present in the blogsphere. Well, to be precise, I craft a lot mostly because I’d like to finish off some projects I meant for my friends and it is easier to me just to post the photos (like yesterday)  and write only a few words…. I think I’m going to face some busy months but I’ll talk about when it will be the right time for. Till then I hope you enjoy my projects as much as I do….

I’m in a cross stitch mood…. as you could have seen….

I love this tea cup….. no, I love all the cups from the chart which you can here. I’m going to eimbroider another one for which I bought some thread of beautiful colour shades….

Aren’t these skeins gorgeous….? ❤ ❤ ❤

My idea is to cross stitch two cups to be framed later.

Off to embroider my second cup now  🙂

FO :: Audrey

….. oh,yeah,she is….

…. steamed and ready to be framed….

While cross stitching in these last two days an idea has come up to my mind … which includes a small filet lace, already woven in ends and blocked….

….. can you spot the rose in the middle..? After so much knitting I had a need to hold a hook for a while… I’m off to work on my new idea…since it foresees sewing, I’m already sweating a lot…. wish me luck, please…

A WIP and a new project

Hello, my friends!

There’s no need to tell you that I’m already working on new projects, is there….? 😉

I have already shown you the cross stitch Audrey pattern and stuff….well, this beautiful lady is taking shape on my Aida cloth…

This is the second time that I’m cross stitching her and the pleasure is the same as the first one…. 🙂 🙂 🙂

New day, new knitting project, new yarn…

I will try to knit the following garment…. asked me by a friend of mine….

Per Betty

Hm hm hm ….. the only place where I’ve seen this tubular sweater is here … with no knitting directions….  I really hope that I’ll be able to reproduce well the pattern… I’m going to knit it straight, with neither increases nor decreases, following the shoulder lenght for shape the arm holes …. but I’m not quite sure if a garment of that kind would be wearable… well,I think that the dear friend of mine wouldn’t mind to test it… I’ll make the most of my skill and the yarn and, eventually, we are always in time to undo it and make something else, if necessary… 🙂

Off to make lunch….

PS: The grey yarn is merino while the white is a mix of wool and alpaca, both to be worked on a 8mm circular needles…. I’m in heaven….
